Perform all functions of palletizing cases within the Finishing Department. Maintain quality of all pallets before returning into finished goods.
SIGNIFICANT NON-DEPARTMENTAL INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Primary internal contacts include all manufacturing departments, Customer Service, Structural Design, Graphics, Sales and Management. External contacts may include Customer Quality Auditors in which you are required to describe all quality and maintenance procedures.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: (BULLET-POINT LIST OF MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES)
Review the factory ticket daily for palletizing instructions.
Transports and stretch wraps finished pallets.
Palletize all cases that come off lines one, two and three.
Complete all necessary paperwork in regards to the palletizer position.
Inspect all cases for labels.
Place all cases neat and orderly onto pallet before wrapping.
Inspect all cases and pallets for damage.
Assist all production lines daily to increase run rates and decrease make ready times.
Maintain the cleanliness of the belt areas and production lines daily.
Work with Management and leads to fulfill all production responsibilities.
Interact and develop ways to keep up with all production lines.
Work closely with maintenance to maintain the integrity of the belts on a daily basis.
Deliver and stage all cases, pads, trays, u-boards, slip sheets, etc. to the production line.
Maintain all taping equipment daily.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, security procedures and instructions.
Willing to be flexible in regards to schedule.
Other tasks / duties as assigned.
1 year work related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High School diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of arms and legs, moving body, such as lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials as necessary.
· Must complete cGMP training and Departmental QSP training.
· Must pass quality programs and tests.
